Contemporary Street Alphabet
Contemporary Street Alphabet
An alphabet book of modern-day street characters within the city with text by Pat Francis. Inspired by some of the biting satires from history but conceived during the early years of the new millennium, this quite savage portrayal of the streets of our cities, depicts both sad and exploited victims, as well as their perpetrators. The cartoonish stereotypes and characters are presented through the form of an alphabet with crude texts reflecting the horror and humour of the metropolis.
